Update number three from Tennesseeeeee!

It's getting a little warmer here, which means more fun and more enjoyable weather features.


Karlie Smith gets ready to record her testimonial as part of a fund-raising video for a mission trip to Uganda. Smith and five other students her age decided to spend this year's summer vacation in Uganda to help out orphanages from families with AIDS.


Joel Prince stands in a residence at 675 1st Street in Cleveland that has been condemned and will likely be taken down within two weeks. Mr. Prince is a city code enforcement officer, and also works with a new program called the Codes Krew which aims to inform kids about codes enforcement.


Sequatchi County's #20 Malorie Tucker, bottom, celebrates with #14 Katherine Baker after they won the District 6-AA basketball championships over Grundy at Hixson High School on February 19.


Eight-year-old Cody Nease stands on his mom's minivan to catch a glimpse of Air Force One with his disposable camera on Wednesday afternoon. Dozens of spectators came out to Honest Road to take photos of the parked 747 aircraft while President Bush was across town.


Second-grader Hunter Dodd roams the hallways of Cloud Springs Elementary School at Dr. Seuss Night. Hats from "Cat in the Hat" were sold as a fund-raiser and students got to wear them all week long in preparation for the night of festivities on March 1.


Jerry Gerber holds the book used in Celebrate Recovery, a twelve-step program that has been in Georgia prisons for two years. Mr. Gerber facilitates the outreach ministry program, which includes 60 inmates between two area prisons. Mr. Gerber said of the program, "We hurt by ourselves, but we heal together."


Firefighter DeAngelo Newson works to extinguish the smoking roof from flames that erupted at the Villas at Oak Creek on Tuesday morning, causing "Heavy fire damage" to eight units, Chattanooga Fire Department spokesman Bruce Garner said. No injuries were reported from the fire, and the cause is currently unknown.
